Percorso ad anello.
PARTENZA: Borgo Casa al Vento –
Ci si può collegare all’anello anche partendo a piedi dal posteggio del borgo di Barbischio e prendendo la strada bianca che sale verso i monti del Chianti fino a raggiungere, dopo circa 700 metri, la deviazione sulla destra che porta al medesimo, seguendo le indicazioni per Borgo Casa al Vento.
Un percorso panoramico, breve , che permette di godere del paesaggio e dei panorami della piccola valle di Bricciano, piccolo borgo nominato come castello di Presciano in epoca medioevale.
La partenza è dal posteggio di Borgo Casa al Vento, che si raggiunge salendo da Barbischio, seguendo la strada bianca che sale sui Monti Del Chianti e svoltando a destra dopo 700 metri di salita da affrontare con cautela.
A questo punto scendiamo seguendo le indicazioni per Borgo Casa al Vento e raggiungiamo il posteggio dell’omonimo agriturismo.
Da lì partiamo seguendo la segnaletica bianco/rossa con lettera V, caratteristica dei percorsi escursionistici.
Scendiamo dolcemente addentrandoci all’interno della proprietà aziendale tra un vigneto e un bel bosco di quercia.
Alla fine del bel bosco ci immettiamo in un sentiero sassoso che inizia a salire fino a portarci ad uno splendido punto panoramico sulla parte nord della valle del Chianti che ci lascia senza fiato.
Da esso possiamo individuare la lunga serie di borghi e castelli che si trovano lungo la riva sinistra del fiume.
Da qui il percorso si fa più agevole e affrontiamo un tratto semplice dal quale possiamo ammirare la bellezza della piccola valle, contornata dallo spettacolo degli splendidi vigneti e dal verde dei boschi dei Monti del Chianti.

In entrambe sarà possibile, previa telefonata di prenotazione, degustare i prestigiosi vini.
Riprendiamo, poi, la discesa e dopo poche centinaia di metri, sulla nostra destra, un piccolo e accogliente terrazzo ci invita a rilassarci e ad ammirare il panorama sugli oliveti e vigneti della piccola valle e, in lontananza, la parte sud della valle del Chianti.
Riprendiamo soddisfatti, la discesa verso il magnifico Borgo Casa al Vento, dove possiamo ancora godere dei prodotti dell’azienda agricola e dei piatti deliziosi del ristorante.

Circular route.
STARTING POINT: Borgo Casa al Vento –
You can also connect to the circular route by starting on foot from the parking lot in the village of Barbischio and taking the dirt road that climbs towards the Chianti mountains. After about 700 meters, you reach the turnoff on the right that leads to the village, following the signs for Borgo Casa al Vento.
A short, panoramic route that allows you to enjoy the landscape and views of the small valley of Bricciano, a small village known as the castle of Presciano in medieval times.
The starting point is from the Borgo Casa al Vento parking lot, which can be reached by climbing from Barbischio, following the dirt road that climbs towards the Chianti mountains, and turning right after a 700-meter climb, which should be undertaken with caution.
At this point, we descend following the signs for Borgo Casa al Vento and reach the parking lot of the farmhouse of the same name.
From there, we begin following the red and white V-shaped signs, characteristic of hiking trails.
We descend gently, entering the company property between a vineyard and a beautiful oak forest.
At the end of the beautiful forest, we enter a rocky path that begins to climb until it leads us to a breathtaking panoramic viewpoint overlooking the northern part of the Chianti Valley.
From there, we can see the long series of villages and castles along the left bank of the river.
From here, the trail becomes easier, and we tackle a simple stretch from which we can admire the beauty of the small valley, surrounded by the spectacle of splendid vineyards and the green woods of the Chianti Mountains.
At the end of this stretch, we encounter two family-run wineries:

Both offer tastings of their prestigious wines, with prior reservations by phone.
We then continue our descent, and after a few hundred meters, on our right, a small, welcoming terrace invites us to relax and admire the view of the olive groves and vineyards of the small valley and, in the distance, the southern part of the Chianti Valley.
We continue our descent, satisfied, towards the magnificent Borgo Casa al Vento, where we can once again enjoy the farm’s produce and the delicious dishes of the restaurant.
